PURE INC. Signs With DOCKYARD 1

June 6, 2008

Swiss rockers PURE INC. have inked a deal with Dockyard 1 Records. The group's third album, "Parasites & Worms", will be released in August. The CD was mixed at the Little Creek Studios in Gelterkinden (Baselland) with V.O. Pulver (studio owner, engineer and producer, as well as singer and guitar player of GURD). According to a press release, "the band redefines rock on this third record combining the high times of ALICE IN CHAINS, SOUNDGARDEN with the strength of great rock traditions a la LED ZEPPELIN."

A new song, entitled "Raise Hell", has been posted online at the group's MySpace page.

PURE INC. last year announced the addition of bassist Ueli "Hoffi" Hofstetter to the group's ranks.

PURE INC.'s second album, "A New Day's Dawn", was released in March 2006 via AFM/MV. The follow-up to 2004's "Pure Inc." was produced by Tommy Vetterli (CORONER, KREATOR) while the mastering was handled by Mika Jussila (H.I.M., NEVERMORE, EXODUS) at Finnvox studios in Helsinki, Finland.
